Dental implants are often the most ideal way to restore a missing tooth, as it is a fixed, non-removable option that does not require any dental restorations on adjacent teeth. The dental implant involves two main parts: the actual implant, which is a titanium steel post that is inserted into the bone under the gums, and a crown, which is attached to the implant using an abutment as the connector.
